 Q2 When do you use air control unit? And what are the conveying materials?

Air control unit can be use in petrochemical and chemical industrial for process, temperature, pressure and flow rate control system. The conveying materials are process material & product and steam.
 Q3 Selection of control valve (PIVC)

 Q4 When can you use diverter valve?

Diverter valve is mostly applied in the field of chemicals mud treatment, waste water, dust, lime, the processing for cements fertilizer and raw materials of food.
It is especially suitable for transporting the powders of high viscosity. The applied pressure could be 5000~12000 mmHg for low-density’s and high density of (6Kg/m2G) or under non-pressure but just by gravity for conveying into piping or tanks.

 Q6 Standard inspection procedures

  1. Inspect the body dimensions & fitting ports of the valve according to the procurement specifications.
  2. Check the actuator of the valve body(i.e. operation type) according to the procurement specifications.
  3. Check all the accessories which shall meet the procurement list.
  4. Inspect if the valve body has been deformed, distorted or damaged.
  5. Inspect if the actuator (of cylinders or handles) and the accessories are fixed tightly.
  6. Check the valve performance by compressed air of 4~7kg/cm2 G for pneumatic types and by hand operation for manual types to assure it is in good condition.
 Q7 Standard operation procedures when assembly

  1. Assure the removal of sealing tape or blind plate on the fitting port (flange port).
  2. Be sure to clean up the interior of the valve body thoroughly.
  3. The piping connected to the valve must also be cleaned before being fitted up, especially assure the removal of residual chips left during welding and cutting of the pipes.
  4. Support the valve body properly according to the weight and the size.
  5. When assemble the electrical wiring, always check the space being enough for valve actions, the connection being constantly in contact, the protection tubing be fixed in according to the regulations concerned for reasonable cladding.
  6. When assemble the electrical wiring, assure to be done in accordance with the safety regulations in force.
  7. Safety procedures must be applied to all the electrical components for explosion protection in accordance with the regulations concerned, if so required.
 Q8 Running Test

  1. Check the valve body and be sure there is not deformed or damaged.
  2. Check the actuator and be sure it is fixed completely.
  3. Check all the accessories and be sure all of them are in good condition and secure properly.
  4. Check the piping of compressed air, and be sure they are leak-tightly sealed and properly fixed. The piping shall be so arranged that the actions of the valve would not be barricaded.
  5. Check all the electrical wiring and be sure that they are fixed properly with correct connection.
  6. Supply sufficient compressed air the F.R.L. combination and to the solenoid valve in this diverter valve. The air here must be supplied at the pressure of 4~6kg/cm2G
  7. Push the manual button of the solenoid valve and check the actions of the valve being normal or not. At the same time, adjust the speed by regulating the speed controller to meet the requirement.
  8. Check the air piping and be sure they are leak-tighted.
  9. While above-all is ready without problem, switch the manual operation to the auto operation of the solenoid valve. At this time, the system will run under automatic controlling.
  10. Do not change the flowing directions when there are raw materials still in the body of diverter valve. Otherwise, the valve could be damaged.
 Q9 Maintenance

  1. Periodically check the oil in oil cup of the F.R.L. combination. Oil-change or refill shall be done regularly every 2~4 weeks. The lubricant oil shall be of “R32”.
  2. Regularly check the valve body and all the accessories and be sure the fixing and functions are in good condition. Repair or replace any one part or component if it is found out of order.
